After the first month of running the forged axle in our mining conveyor, the difference in torque handling is clear. The horizontal forging process eliminated the internal voids we saw with previous suppliers. Induction tempering kept the hardness consistent across the shaft, and the non-destructive fatigue test report gave us confidence to run it at full load. No signs of premature wear yet.

Communication during the setup of the custom transmission shaft was straightforward. The team explained the tradeoffs between ductility and hardness for our processing plant application. They adjusted the induction tempering cycle based on our rotational speed requirements. The only delay was in the final NDT scheduling, but the shaft itself performed exactly as specified.

This is our second forged axle order for agricultural equipment. The first one ran two seasons without any shaft failure, so we came back for a custom variant with a different load profile. The team remembered our previous specs and suggested a minor change in the billet grade to match the new field conditions. The fatigue test results were shared before shipment, which saved us downtime during installation.
